Twelve Months of Eno River “Trail Magic”
This edition of our annual Eno River calendar celebrates the wonder found in the unexpected: an encounter with a barred owl at dusk, an otherworldly weaving of sunlight and shadows across a river bend, a tiny seedling pushing through old earth.
Here, "Trail Magic" is offered in abundance through the collective lens of witnessed seasons and inspired community storytelling. Comb through classic line drawings by Joe Liles, calligraphy by local artist Rosali Middleman, and poetic accounts inviting us to level with the possibility that nature's infinite layers exist far beyond our line of sight and much deeper than a quarry's reach.
Produced by the Calendar Committee--Hillary Harrison, Heather McEntire, Fred Myers, Mike Nye, Lindsay Schultz, and Jay Williams--and printed locally in full-color.
